Todays wildlife management for tomorrow's biodiversity
Far away from cities, houses and streets, lies the KAMBAKU refuge, offering shelter to people and animals – a sheltered little paradise where the clocks tick differently and the savannah can breathe deeply.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT
We are passionate about the animals and plants at KAMBAKU. With sustainable wildlife management – based on the protection of biodiversity and prudent use of natural resources – we maintain ecological balance and guide our reserve into a healthy future.
At KAMBAKU you will encounter the wild animals of the savannah. In addition to giraffes, zebras and many antelopes, you will also meet scrub hares, tortoises and butterflies as well as more than 200 different bird species native to the area.
The thorn bush savannah is typical of central Namibia. In summer, light rain is enough to transform the plains from golden grass to a lush green oasis with colourful flowers.
Forecast: Increasing clouds with little temperature change. Precipitation possible within 24 to 48 hours.
