At KAMBAKU, you get up close and personal with Africa. Our sustainably managed private resort is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and different species of antelope. Predators, endangered species, amphibians, and more than 200 bird species also inhabit our reserve.
Accompanied by our FGASA-trained guides, you will discover the fascinating wildlife of southern Africa and gain deep insight into a thriving and healthy ecosystem – all in a personal atmosphere, far from mass tourism and mainstream routes.
The Kambaku Wildlife Resort is located in the heart of Namibia, just 90 km north-east of Otjiwarongo. On game drives and guided bush walks, mountain bike tours, and quiet observations at waterholes, you will learn more about animal behavior and the unique ecosystem of the savanna and, after thrilling encounters with Africa’s animals, enjoy a sundowner against the picturesque backdrop of the Waterberg Plateau.

Guided Adventures
Explore Namibia’s Nature Reserves from Our Lodge
very morning and afternoon we offer thrilling activities inside our Namibia wildlife resort. Our FGASA-certified guides share their knowledge of African nature on trips and hikes, at water holes or over a sundowner drink in the evening. They will show you the most beautiful spots in our private wildlife reserve and answer questions that some other nature guides can't.
Of course, our guided wildlife programme is voluntary. You decide whether you want to take part. You can also explore one of Namibia’s greatest nature reserves on your own. After an exciting day observing wildlife and immersing yourself in the vast Namibian landscape, you can relax at our luxury lodge, enjoying a healthy meal and a cocktail under the stars.

Namibia Private Tour – Safaris by Kambaku
KAMBAKU brings you the best of the bush savanna – a landscape vastly different from the hot Namib Desert, and the dramatic Fish River Canyon in Namibia’s south, the rough Atlantic coastline, the harbour town of Walvis Bay, the rugged Skeleton Coast, Etosha National Park, or the lush national parks of the subtropical Caprivi Strip.
If you would like to visit these breathtaking regions and Namibia nature reserves as well, we invite you to browse our tour programme. We offer half-day and full-day trips to Etosha National Park or the Waterberg Plateau, as well as multi-day tours to the Namib, Damaraland, or the species-rich national parks of the Zambezi region.
All safaris are designed to be highly personal, with private tour guides, well-maintained safari vehicles, and full-board accommodations in beautiful lodges – no camping. Depending on your chosen safari (to the Namib or Caprivi), your journey will either start in Windhoek and conclude with a stay at KAMBAKU or begin at KAMBAKU and end in Windhoek. KAMBAKU is our private Namibia wildlife resort featuring a stunning Namibia luxury lodge that perfectly combines thrilling safari adventures with relaxation at the pool, during rejuvenating yoga session or soothing treatments at the Kambaku Bush Spa. Plan your trip to Namibia now and experience wildlife at our beautiful resort!
