KAMBAKU WILDLIFE RESERVE
Our hunting safaris take place in our private game reserve in the North of Namibia. For more species we also hunt in neighboring concession areas. Thanks to careful restoration and decades of efforts to reintroduce native wildlife on the land of a former cattle farm, KAMBAKU is now a thriving habitat for countless African wildlife species. As you traverse the rugged terrain of Namibia, you'll encounter a rich diversity of wildlife, from graceful kudu, large herds of wildebeests and impala to giraffes, warthogs, zebras, as well as predators like leopards and cheetahs.

Conservation
HUNTING ON NAMIBIA’S PLAINS GAME
During selective reduction hunting safaris, you primarily target young and weak specimens to support the natural balance in the reserve. Selective hunting of antelopes (such as impala, eland, wildebeest) and other species like warthog or zebra offers a fantastic opportunity to experience professional wildlife management, African biodiversity, and hunting practices and conservation in Namibia during a hunting vacation.
In reduction hunting, the selection of species and individuals to be hunted is at the discretion of the hunting guide based on the guidelines of our wildlife management plans. Hides and other trophies of the harvested animals cannot be exported from the country.

RESERVE WITH HUNTING LODGE IN NAMIBIA & HUNTER’S CAMP
Our private wildlife reserve is located approximately 90 km northeast of Otjiwarongo. The drive from the airport in Windhoek to Kambaku is approximately 360 km and takes about 3.5-4 hours. Feel free to use our transfer service to avoid self-driving and car rental in Windhoek (transfer price per trip €150 per person, children free of charge).
